Overview

We bring people together to build practical skills, exchange knowledge, strengthen relationships, and learn from communities facing similar challenges. Our trainings and convenings may include workshops, conferences, webinars, facilitated regional conversations, practitioner trainings, peer-learning networks, and train-the-trainer programs. Sessions emphasize participation and practical application so that people leave with ideas, tools, relationships, and next steps they can bring back to their communities or organizations. Another municipality, organization, or region may already be testing an approach that can be adapted locally.

Peer learning allows participants to:

  • Learn from best practices, including what did not work.
  • Exchange tools, models, policies, and implementation strategies.
  • Find partners facing similar challenges.
  • Build relationships that can support mutual aid and regional collaboration.
  • Strengthen local capacity to facilitate future planning and engagement.
  • Create networks that continue beyond a single event.
