Our Vision

The Dartmouth Climate Collaborative connects, strengthens, and leverages Dartmouth’s work on climate and long-term resilience. The overarching vision for the Climate Collaborative over the next three years is:

  • Cultivate “climate citizens” who are informed, responsible, and engaged
  • Amplify opportunities for scholarly excellence
  • Build on our excellence in experiential learning and transform campus into a living laboratory
  • Model environmental responsibility
  • Build momentum, spread awareness, and nourish positive partnerships

This distinctive approach taps into the profound sense of place, expertise in cold-region research and operations, ties to Indigenous communities, and experiential approach to learning at Dartmouth.
