Our Vision
We envision Dartmouth as a place that develops leaders, generates solutions, and demonstrates what is possible by accelerating climate action locally and globally to create a more climate resilient future. To that end, the Dartmouth Climate Collaborative connects, strengthens, and leverages Dartmouth's work on climate and long-term resilience.
Over the next three years, the Climate Collaborative will advance its mission and vision through the following goals:
- Cultivate climate citizens who are informed, responsible, and engaged.
- Amplify opportunities for scholarly excellence.
- Build on our excellence in experiential learning and transform campus into a living laboratory.
- Model environmental responsibility.
- Empower communities, translate knowledge into action, and build capacity for resilience
This distinctive approach builds on Dartmouth's profound sense of place, expertise in cold-region research and operations, ties to Indigenous communities, and experiential approach to learning.
